I was at a family BBQ [Dec. 7th, 2006|04:14 pm]
I was just at a bbq. That's how it started. A few drinks and a few snags at the Gorge. Yeah .. right. After that I ended up at Nathan's for a few drinks. After that I ended up at the Northern Club with everyone for a few more drinks. After that I ended up at the James for 50 cent beers. After that Mark and I made a random visit to Steven. We set chips on fire. We set the backyard on fire. We had to piss on it to make it go out. After that we ended up at the Northern again. In between all that I won a stuffed camel and a man-thing and a red flashing nose. After that I blew .1 on the bretho on the way home. I was just at a bbq. How do these things happen?

People are about as usefull as a chocolate kettle! [Dec. 3rd, 2006|10:25 am]
[mood | tired]
[music |The Ricky Gervais Show]

Would anyone like to know what I've learnt about people lately? Most of you/them are stupid. You are all about as usefull as a chocolate kettle. I have come to this conclusion after dealing with a miriad of stupid customers at Bunnings. Just die. Bastards.

In other news.

Tom's gone to Europe for a while. There are pictures of us down there.

Quddus and I are learning songs fast so that we can progress to gigs, hopefully, you'll see us live in the new year.

Now! Honnica is once again approaching. For those of you who don't know .. this (http://bradleee.livejournal.com/35855.html) is what happened last year. Can I expect the same from anyone this year? Yes, Brooke, this means you.

The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage [Sep. 1st, 2006|01:57 pm]
[mood | cranky]
[music |Some Song.]

I drink too much. I realised this last nite. I get too upset. Drinking makes me happy for a brief period of time before I fall into a big rut at the end of the nite and come home and start hacking at my arm. I haven't done that for awhile. But, I did again last nite. Stupid really. I feel ok today.

In other news:

We had a small gathering last nite and Brooke (who is rather pretty) came to drink with us. She's a lovely girl and it was nice to watch her drink my bourbon.

At the James I decided it was Brad's jukebox hour and I fed that stupid machine about $15 so it would keep playing songs I liked.

Narelle is a funny name.

Love is like a big orange.

Girls have better breasts than men. It's true.

Wish You Were Here is the best song in the world and Kevin and I play it lots.

Girl jocks are worse than boy jocks. Yes, there is a difference.

I work lots now.

Bad Boys & Painkillers [Jul. 24th, 2006|08:37 pm]
[mood | tired]
[music |The Killers: When We Were Young]

So. An Update. Hooray!

Quddus, Amy & myself ventured to Hobart-town for Jess's 21st. Drinks started at 4 and ended at 2 with me laying on Amy's hotel room floor (it smelt a bit like wee).

Interesting bits and pieces:

The hotel hated us:

- Quddus broke his toilet.
- They messed up our meal.
- There was no hot water.
- My view involved a parking lot and a building.
- We were late for Breakfast.
- I wasn't allowed to have Orange Juice.
- I spent 10 minutes looking for a non-existant electric blanket.

A shopping trip turned into drinks.

Drinks turned into a random casino visit.

A random casino visit turned into more drinks.

More drinks turned into Quddus trying to find the Westpac bank.

Quddus: "It was there 10 years ago."

Me: "It's not fucking there now."

After Operation Westpac ended. We had dinner + more drinks at the hotel.

After dinner + drinks we went to Jess's 21st.

We made the pub run out of Bourbon.

We then went out.

The next day hurt.

Photos:

It's us. On a wall!

Quddus driving the Bunnings car!

A pretty view.

Oh! We're cool!

Oh! So very cool!

Cocktail!

Jess!

So I’ll keep my love buried but breathing .. [May. 14th, 2006|06:32 pm]
[mood | tired]
[music |You Am I: Convicts]

Hi, it's been a little while. Whats been happening? Well. The standard fare. Drinking. Working (kinda).

On Wednesday I thought it'd be a good idea to mix bourbon with marketing.

Plastic Finger Prostate Exams! Thumbs up means you're ok!
Jealousy.com. Stalking your loved ones since 2006. If you're listening, we're watching!
Fat Girls! Yes! There are chocolates inside!
Coffee! Waking you up the fuck up since slavery!

I'm sooo clever sometimes. I'm also tired and I'll write something better later.

Hurrah! A picture I stole from the Saloon website.

Me, Quddus, Amy!

It's over
You don't need to tell me
I hope you're with someone who makes you feel safe in your sleeping tonight
I won't kill myself, trying to stay in your life
I got no distance left to run

When you see me
Please turn your back and walk away
I don't want to see you cos' I know the dreams that you keep is where we meet
When your coming down, think of me
I got no distance left to run

It's over
I knew it would end this way
I hope you're with someone who makes you feel that this life is the night
And it settles down, stays around, spends more time with you
I got no distance left to run

SästiLkkä! [Apr. 17th, 2006|02:58 pm]
[mood | blah]
[music |Coldplay: God Put A Smile On My Face]

SästiLkkä or Eastikka was our invented Holiday. We're going quite well at inventing holidays. Firstly we stole 'Honnica' from the Jews and based X-mas around it. Now we've just made up a word and based Easter around it. It's pronounced 'East - ic - car' in case you got confused or aren't Russian. It was the standard fare of drinking, dancing & stupidity.

SästiLkkä interesting bits:

Amy & I trying to steal a kettle from the 'Batty'.

Me stealing a fork from the 'Batty'. Take that!

Deciding that the only way to get to the Batty from the Saloon was via Taxi. Worth $5.

Me spending $12 on the toy-machine at the back of the 'Poon'. I won a blue sea-lion.

Me trying to burn blue sea-lion at Simons the next day.

Simon lighting his bar on fire and me trying to be heroic by throwing two bits of ice on it.

Quddus utterly and completely jumping off the SästiLkkä band-wagon. "It's a shit holiday. I hate it. Die"

Me getting money from Amy for drinks. Me then licking the twenty dollar note. Why? Yeah, I dont know.

My Oasis marathon at The James. Take that bastards!

Tom being drunk.

Tom being drunk and deciding that all men are 'bastards'.

Simon and I both confessing that we've touched Tom's 'tackle'.

The Quddus & Brad show!

Topics including:

Birth control for arsehole parents.
Why there always is and always will be a war in Africa.
The 'tard tumor' that is growing on the left side of my brain.
White Supremacists and their religious holidaying.
How the universe is just someone with nothing else to do making stuff up.

P.S

I'm now on Myspace! Go here and see!

Don't Listen To The Radio .. [Mar. 26th, 2006|01:04 pm]
[mood | tired]
[music |The Vines: Vision Valley]

I had planned to drink myself stupid this w/end. I was going to go three days in a row. I've done two and it's fair to say I've had enuff. It begins on ..

Friday: I finished work at 9 and Mark turned up to see what I was doing. I suggested drinking. "Suprising" was his reply. Frankly, it wasn't surprising, I think he was being sarcastic. As Mark and I chatted outside .. Elice arrived. She was going to a party .. a party neither Mark or I were invited too .. so .. we invited ourselves! So began the Friday nite mission! Mark followed me home .. I got changed and started drinking. Mark drove my car to Riverside to get Amy .. we then got Elice from the bush .. we then drove to this party which was near the airport. I wasn't ready to socialise just yet .. so .. Mark and I went to the Evandale Pub! The less said about my time there .. well .. prolly the better. There was a dog in the pub. Enuff said. So .. we then went back to the party and I drank free booze all nite. I dont know when we got home. It was good though. Still, it's another country out there.

Later Friday Nite: We got got back home and Nathan was drinking .. by himself. Elice and I ended up watching cartoons with him for most of the nite. He then put on the filmclip for "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt (Cunty Blunty). He then proceeded to tell us the story behind the song .. the wrong story .. at the end .. ol' cunty kills himself .. because he's depressed .. and .. because he dosen't like his shoes.

Saturday: I hurt for most of the day. I then decided that I'd keep drinking. I turned up at Simons for cocktails. Tom was depressed .. girl troubles. I told him to give me his phone .. I'd sort it out .. he declined. We then all went into town. Quddus and I decided that the James was shit and so we went down to the Commercial. We sat at the bar over-looking the beer garden and pretended we were on TV. Our TV show is called: "The Brad & Quddus Show" .. Channel 31 .. Late. We rang up a few people and told them to tune in .. I wonder if they did. Then!! Then there was a band playing. They played Khe Sahn. I was so happy. You know how you can be so happy .. well .. you do a little wee .. without going to the toilet? That was me. I sang every word. EVERY WORD! I loved it. They even had harmonica. The chick on Harmonica used to work nightfill at Coles. I dont know how we knew this. But we do. We do.

Sunday: So .. it's Sunday now. It's a lovely day. I've blogged and I feel better for it. Go download Dubai. It's good for you.
